A big part of my life is my passion for the environment and all kinds of nature. I like to hike and explore beautiful places outdoors even just sit in a park and read. It is my goal that during my lifetime I can make a meaningful contribution to the preservation of Earth's natural resources and its many ecosystems.

About Me

I am a sophomore Ecology major currently at Sacramento City College. I have plans to transfer to UC Santa Barbara after completing general education requirements at community college. My dream is to work for an environmental organization with a focus on climate science, possibly conducting research and analysis.

Experience

I am a relatively new tutor, but I am motivated and excited to continue working to help others be the best they can be in the academic world. My most recent experience has been providing after class assistance to a student in trigonometry. I am specifically skilled in math and science, being most comfortable in Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Biology.

Approach

I find it most effective to ensure that academic assistance is engaging and thoughtful with the specific student in mind. I like to explain problem solutions in simple, easy to understand terms, and always listen attentively to the students thought process. Creating a safe atmosphere where the student feels compelled to ask questions and becomes genuinely interested in the subject is my utmost goal.
