I love to go country dancing and learn new tricks, I'm always dancing along with the music no matter where I am. I am an only child raised in a small town south of Houston. I was home schooled until 7th grade and loved how close it made my mom and I. I also have two kittens that I love so much.

About Me

I graduated with my Master's in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word a little over a year ago. I work at a company named Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. in the finance department calculating budgets and taking care of payroll. Next year I am hoping to sit for my CPA exam.

All throughout my life I have tutored my friends. Math has always come somewhat easy to me so I loved helping those that I cared about with something they were struggling with. It was an amazing feeling when I saw it click it my friend's eyes and I cannot wait to see that again.

When I was home schooled my mom came up with a lot of creative ways to make the information I was learning connect. I try to use what she taught me in that manner with everyone I tutor. I do this by finding things they can connect with and linking it to the material they are learning. Although math came easy I still struggled in other classes and aspects of my youth. I never really fit in but my eighth grade social studies teacher helped encourage me to be the person I was meant to be. She never gave up on me and I plan to use that attitude when I tutor.
