Fun Facts

I recently adopted a puppy. While training the puppy, I understood that they should be treated just like they are human. Like humans, they need encouragement, positive reinforcement, and loves to have fun. They are animals that would love you more than themselves, so I took into account to not judge anyone just because they are different and care for others.

About Me

I am a Junior at City College of New York. I am double majoring in both Childhood Education and Psychology. When I graduate, I hope to find an elementary school that best fits me and go back to school to earn my Masters in Childhood Education.With this job opportunity, I will be able to gain more knowledge about students and the way that they learn.

I have tutored in a private tutoring session with a group of fifteen second graders 3 hours a day.In this session, students come straight from their regular school hours and I would help them with homework or whatever problems that they are facing in school. After the students are done with their school work, they are assigned additional classwork to keep them engaged and learning. Parents love it when students learn new materials in these sessions.

As a child, I struggled to ask for help even though I did not understand the topic at all. I would like to encourage students to not be ashamed to ask for help. I want them to know that it is only beneficial for them and that everyone needs help in different areas. I also want students to know that they should practice with their work even if they think that they understand the topic 100%.Practice makes perfect.
