About Me

I went to community college then I transferred to UCLA. My major is psychology. I have tutored my friends on a wide range of topics in psychology. My tutoring approach is not only helping you memorize and define terms but also be able to apply them to scenarios. My strongest topic in psychology is abnormal psychology.

Experience

I was in the Honor's Program at my community college where I helped other students with their psychology exams. I want to continue helping students understand and pass their psychology courses.

Approach

I struggled with subjects like math growing up until I adapted a growth mindset that helped me succeed in my statistics class in college. As a tutor I want to help students adapt this mindset to succeed in not only their psychology course but other courses and the real world. I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
