Fun Facts

For most of my life wrestling was my main hobby. My time at LA Tech has consisted primarily of school and work, but I do enjoy playing basketball with my friends in my free time. I also center the majority of my time around my dog and my girlfriend. However, this quarter I only have four hours of class so I have ample time to tutor those that need my help.

About Me

I am a clinical kinesiology major at LA Tech and graduate this May. I am comfortable in most subjects that are taught from preschool all the way through grade 12. I am also comfortable teaching ACT Prep as I made a 28 in two attempts. As far as college courses I excel in nearly anything science related. Following graduation I am hoping to find a job as a PE coach, athletic trainer, or in medical sales.

Experience

I have never been paid as a tutor or volunteered, but I have a little sister and a little brother who I have helped with homework ever since I was in middle school. I have also been a helpful hand to my peers in high school and college classes that I am comfortable in.

Approach

I never had to study as a kid, but my experience in college has taught me many study techniques. Also, my brother and sister were not as lucky growing up and I always excelled in explaining things in a simpler way or from another perspective so that they could understand. My goal is to teach the kids I tutor the study techniques I have picked up on and to be patient while they learn from what I have to teach.
