Fun Facts

I love playing Ultimate Frisbee, a frisbee sport that is a mix of soccer and football. Although not many people have heard of it, I have played it since high school and continue to play competitively on the Northeastern University club team. I also enjoy basketball whether it is playing, watching, or just talking about it. When I'm not out and about, I like relaxing on my bed with a nice book and music.

About Me

I am graduate student majoring in Engineering Management at Northeastern University. I also have a degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. I hope to become a professional engineering in the future and take part in the design of buildings and bridges.

In the past, I have had experience with one-on-one boston">tutoring at a volunteer boston">tutoring center and as a paid private boston">tutor. I volunteered for a year at a boston">tutoring center in Manhattan, helping my middle school student in all general areas as she struggled to keep up with her classmates. During high school, I worked as a private boston">tutor for a recently immigrated Chinese family to help their 6th grade daughter and 9th grade son transition to learning exclusively in English.

As a boston">tutor, I encourage students to ask questions and to work with me as partners in their learning experience. I believe in being well planned and prepared for each session so that we waste no time in learning and practicing concepts. I also encourage parental involvement in the planning of all boston">tutoring sessions as they are the ones who have the best understanding of the needs of their children.
