Fun Facts

I really enjoy playing video games, from various different genres. I am a devoted soccer player, I love watching and playing the game through and through. A very big fan of Harry Potter as well as scary movies.

About Me

Currently a senior at UIC for Teaching of Mathematics (secondary ED), I am waiting to student teach for the Spring 2022 and I will be done with my Undergrad! My goal is to become a high school math teacher for CPS, as I feel that there is always room for improvement and better instruction to our students and future generations. I am fluently bilingual with also good knowledge of French, so I can say trilingual sometimes!

Experience

There have been many times where I have informally tutored students, like my very own classmates back when I was younger. Now, I constantly help my little sister who struggles in Math and it is a great experience for me, it makes me happy when she understands a topic that I helped her with.

Approach

Throughout my education I have been inspired by some teachers, both good and bad. My eight grade teacher made me fall more in love with math, he was a young and energetic teacher that really matched the ambiance of what it means to be in middle school. I was a very proficient student, so he would have me walk around helping others. My AP Calc teacher inspired me to want to help students, because I was struggling due to being on Varsity Soccer so I would miss class for games and was behind a lot.
