Fun Facts

I also enjoy art especially drawing comics and using my creativity. In addition I also enjoy literature, history, exercising. weightlifting, and playing video games. I even enjoy listening to music and spending time with family via watching movies or going out. I have conducted research with Red Swamp Crayfish in which I observed their behavioral pattern especially when there are many crayfish in one tank via dominant- subordinate relationship .

About Me

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia by both parents!
I have been passionate about science since a child and I enjoyed learning about plants and and animals. I am very compassionate and I love to help others in need and be an encouragement to others. I also am passionate about meeting different cultures and trying different foods, along with traveling the world. I have received both my Associates and Bachelors Degrees of Science from Atlanta Metropolitan State college. .

Experience

As an Achieve Atlanta Ambassador I had the opportunity to reach out to Achieve Atlanta students to ask about their status regarding registration for classes, completion of their renewal, and whether the students plan on transferring to a different institution or staying at AMSC. I also spoke at a panel at Atlanta Technical College at the Achieve Atlanta Summer Submit to explain to high school graduates about the challenges of college and how to manage time.

Approach

As a Child I was Diagnosed with ADHD and found it difficult to learn, speak up for myself, make friends, and I often felt like I did not belong and an outcast. In Elementary school some teachers would not even give me homework because they felt I could not do it. I also experienced anxiety and nervousness during high school as well. Despite this, I am blessed to have a praying and supportive family who helped me and also my church for their love and support
