Fun Facts

I adore animals! Growing up I had three cats, two dogs, a rabbit, and hamsters. Now I only have one cat but would love to have more. I live in New York City and love it. Growing up my favorite hobby was reading and I still love it today. Currently, I am reading a book about the Russian revolution.

About Me

I just graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in political science with a concentration in political theory and methodology. I've been on the Dean's List the entire time I was at VCU. While I don't plan to seek a further degree, I am passionate about both political science and history and would love to help others discover a passion for it!

Experience

I have nine years of foodservice experience and part of that was teaching others how to do that job. So while I may not have formal experience in tutoring, I do have lots of experience in mentoring!

Approach

I never got things immediately. I've always had to put in a lot of effort towards studying and so developed a lot of good study habits early on. I'd love to be able to pass these on to others. I also recognize that school can be very demoralizing to those who don't grasp it immediately and would love to help students see their potential.
