Fun Facts
I really like planes. I volunteer at an EAA hangar on Saturdays and help out with maintenance of the planes. I also design and build RC planes with some clubmates at my university. One day I hope to be able to own a plane and give flights to close friends and family. I'm also a firm believer in healthy body and healthy mind, I take fitness, health, and academics very seriously and try to maintain a balanced lifestyle. I really want to get into rock climbing one day.
About Me
I am a third year Aerospace Engineering & Applied Mathematics major at San Diego State University. I plan to work in the aerospace industry for 10 to 15 years and then get my Masters in Mathematics at UC Berkeley. Afterwards, I just want to teach math. Math is one of those things I just fell in love with growing up and I have every intention of researching math when I get older.
Experience
Most, if not all of my tutoring experience comes from one on one tutoring between me and friends. Several instances involved tutoring prior to exams, and this would be extremely helpful according to them. To the point where they were able to pass the AP Calculus exam. My most recent experience was teaching a senior gentleman about Laplace Transform and Fourier Series, which showed to me that if the interest is there, anyone can learn math.
Approach
As I get into my early adulthood, I have found myself more and more empathetic to those around me. This lead to wanting to teach and help students grow into their passions, and the best way I found to do that is through my own passions. As a tutor, I want to connect with the student and help them grow into their passion, as well as making sure they succeed academically to ensure that they can pursue their passion into their higher education and eventually their career.

Calculus AP Tutoring
I passed both AP calculus tests with a 5. I personally tutored class mates who had difficulties with the class, which they ended up passing the test. I am well versed in calculus having taken higher level calculus classes at SDSU.
