I am a person that enjoys visiting any type of museum. There is always an opportunity to learn something new! I recently moved to Texas after living in Wisconsin for my entire life. I enjoy traveling and have visited about 2/3 of the states.

About Me

I am a Ph.D. history student at Texas Christian University. My focus is women, gender, and class but have a knowledge of other areas. I worked as an accountant after earning my MBA in 2016. My ultimate goal is to share my passion for learning with others and help them achieve their goals.

Experience

After earning my Masters of Business Administration in 2016, I worked as a full-time accountant for six years. Prior to graduation, I split my time between data processing and accounting. I have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and enjoy using the program whenever I am able. My passion, however, is history. I have worked with the League of Women Voters to share women's suffrage history with middle and college students. I hope I am able to help you become more confident!

Approach

As a tutor, my goal is to help you succeed and feel confident in your understanding. Some subjects have come easy to me but others I have had to work hard to understand. This was not always fun. I believe if learning is not fun, a student does not retain the information. So, I strive to make learning fun and while helping you to grasp the concepts.
