Fun Facts
Two things that I truly adore are traveling and language. I am so interested in exploring new places and different cultures, and will do so with any chance I get. I studied abroad in Valparaiso, Chile, and loved trying new foods, meeting new people, and seeing the beautiful landscapes!
About Me

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Spanish and two minors: sociology and secondary education. I have completely switched scenery and started as a graduate student at the maryland">University of Maryland.
I have tutored students of all ages, from pre-K to college, for the past seven years. Generally, I help students to learn Spanish, but I also enjoy teaching students English as a Second Language. I also am certified to teach Spanish K-12, and am currently a T.A. at UMD maryland/college-park">College Park.
I have always enjoyed learning about language. I think that such knowledge opens so many doors to different cultures and modes of communication. I make sure that students feel safe while they learn, because there are ALWAYS mistakes when you're learning a new language, but that is okay and actually expected! My approach to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring is to share my passion with students to show them how exciting language can be. I also like to remind students that we're always learning how to improve our language skills (even in English)!
