Fun Facts
Most people are astonished to hear that I've gone skydiving! They ask me "weren't you scared?" I tell them that I was pretty nervous at first, but I just pinched my nose, closed my eyes and pushed myself off. At that point I was more than scared, I was terrified! Once I deployed my parachute, though, I started to enjoy the quiet, peaceful feeling of floating back to earth. I am glad I had the experience of skydiving bit I have to admit that one time was enough for me!
About Me
I have been tutoring for almost four years. The first time I worked in a tutoring role was when I served as a teaching assistant in college. In the business world, I often coached employees on ways in which they could improve their work performance. This was also a form of tutoring which is usually one of any manager's work responsibilities.
Experience
I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at San Francisco State University, graduating Magna cum Laude. I subsequently served as an intern in the US State Department, where I conducted classified research and analysis for senior government officials. Since then, I had been working in commercial real estate for corporations, advisers and the State of California. Four years ago I left the real estate field to start tutoring, which has been the most gratifying work of all!
Approach
I spend a couple of minutes during the beginning of each session to get to know my students to build and maintain a rapport that facilitates the learning process. Depending on the needs of the student, I'll focus on a) the practical instruction needed to perform well in class or on the job, or b) take a deeper dive in an area that superior proficiency is desired. The final aspect of my approach is to instill confidence in the student that helps them succeed in all areas!

High performance in both form and content is needed to create a good or great paper.
