Fun Facts
I am a dual citizen of both Canada and the USA. I actually did my undergraduate degree in Canada and came back to the United States for my graduate degree. A lot of people ask me what the biggest difference is and while there aren't many in day to day life, the use of the metric system is definitely a big one!
About Me
I am a first year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Temple University. I recently graduated from Queen's University with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I am really excited to continue my journey of learning and my goal is to work with athletes as a sports Physical Therapist!
Experience
I have had the opportunity to tutor students of all levels. In high school I did a program where we were able to tutor elementary students after school. In addition, I have worked with high school students in particularly science focused subjects as well as peer tutored fellow university students in classes I had previously taken during my undergrad experience. I really enjoy helping people and I hope to continue to be able to do so.
Approach
I find that the best approach is to target the root of the problem so that the student can problem solve and won't have as much difficulty in the future. I also like to focus on what the students feels they need to and ensure confidence before moving on so that they don't feel overwhelmed.
