I love Walt Disney World . When I was growing up, I wanted my own Love Bug because I thought that he was real. ( I'm still waiting!)

About Me

I majored in Human Development with my concentration in Early Education. I am also an advocate for disabled children and adults. In my volunteer work I have seen children graduate high school and get GEDs leading to fulfilling jobs. I have also had younger clients going into foster care or being reunited with their biological families.

Experience

I began my offline career working with preschoolers whose first language is Spanish. I then went onto more preschool teaching and working with education/rhode-island/providence">Special Education students.
For the past 3 years I have taught ESL to children in Canada, China and South Korea.

Approach

I was a student who was informed constantly that I needed to do my work just like everyone else. I could get a math problem of 18 divided by 9 equals 6 as long as it was long division. (It isn't the product, but the process, I was told).
Therefore, I am aware that the student may not get the answer in the traditional manner. It is my job to adapt to their style.
