I enjoy going to the gym and living a healthy lifestyle
I love bowling although I'm not that good at it
I have 3 brothers and 1 sister

About Me

I am a college graduate with my B.A in sociology and early childhood education. I was born and raised in NYC. My ultimate goal is to start my own business relating to education. In the next couple of years I would love to get my Masters in psychology.

Experience

I have been working with children since 2016 and I absolutely love it. I have had the opportunity to tutor students quite a lot since covid but I have also worked in school settings such as the classroom. I enjoy both because I can still connect with the students the same way. It is important for me to develop a safe, fun and trustworthy relationship with my students to ensure that they have fun while learning.

Approach

My approach to teaching and tutoring is to develop a safe, fun and trustworthy relationship with my students to ensure that they have fun while learning. Growing up my teachers made learning not so fun and interactive which caused me to not really enjoy subjects such as math and reading. In college I had professors who helped me learn the importance of creating an interactive place where students felt safe and comfortable learning.
