About Me

I'm currently a first-year graduate student at Azusa Pacific University. I hope to obtain my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in about 4 years. Currently, I am available twice a week (Mondays & Fridays) due to my demanding schoolwork schedule. I am open to morning, afternoons, and early evenings.

Experience

I tutored 2nd graders as volunteer work when I was in high school and worked as an ABA Interventionist more recently where I had the opportunity to work with children diagnosed with disabilities such as Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Prior to starting grad school I worked as a Care Coordinator at two teen/adolescent mental health wellness centers in Ventura, CA. I mostly tutored English/ Language Arts, basic math/pre-algebra, and all Spanish levels.

Approach

I like to use positive reinforcement, structure, and a calm/soft approach. I think it's important to encourage education by making it an enjoyable and integrated experience.
