Fun Facts

One passion I have is softball! I am a coach at my local high school where I help girls not only achieve their athletic goals, but their academic ones as well. I have 8 siblings, 3 older and 5 younger, this has given me a lot of opportunities to support them in their learning and also help them understand concepts that they are learning in school.

About Me

I am a sophomore criminal justice major at Green River, I am planning on finishing my AAS in Fall 2022 and then intend on transferring to get my bachelors at washington">University of Washington Tacoma. My end goal is to become a victim advocate and specialize in domestic violence.

Experience

During my high school years, I worked as a tutor to accommodate my softball schedule. I worked with elementary students, all the way up to high school students that I was in class with. I have a passion for teaching others in all aspects of life, and since starting college, I have realized that I want to continue to be a resource to others!

Approach

Growing up, I would pick up on material quickly and then go on to help others who may have been struggling. This has made me realize that every person has a different learning process, whether it be visual reinforcement, hands on learning, or positive reinforcement. By being able to understand each individual persons needs, I can tailor every experience to ensure lasting learning.
