About Me
After leaving my previous teaching position I am currently a nanny in Hartsdale, NY. I am hoping to resume teaching through tutoring part time.
Experience
I taught 2nd and 3rd grade students during after school for 3 years and during the pandemic led distanced learning. I love teaching and helping students of all skill levels advance in their academics. The joy that comes from student progress is something irreplaceable.
Approach
As a child I always enjoyed learning but did not enjoy school. I was very unmotivated and didn’t like to complete my assignments. Although I was very bright, I had poor grades due to attendance and completion of my assignments. It was not until I found teachers that really encouraged me and engaged me in class that I was able to do well and truly enjoy school again. I believe firmly in catering to each child’s individual needs for the best academic results and life long success.
