Fun Facts:
-I have been working or volunteering at schools grades PreK- 12 since age 16.
-I was a tutor for the AVID program for a year at a high school when I was 17.
-I love working with kiddos and adults who need help learning anything new or just trying to get back on the groove!

About Me

I am a noon aide at an elementary school (1 yr). I am a full-time student at Northern Arizona University, studying to become an elementary school teacher. I have a 4.0 GPA and I am on the Deans List for graduation. I am fluent in English and Spanish.

Experience

As an AVID tutor for Alhambra High School, I had the opportunity to work with 9-12 graders to master their skills and use of tools in order to be academically prepared for college. I am currently working at an elementary school as a noon aide since I am a full time student and internship at an elementary school in order to obtain my bachelors degree.

Approach

As a child I was always eager to learn and teach the new found knowledge I had just achieved. My first language is Spanish and through hard work and practice I became fluent in English. Knowing what is the best way a person learns and using that to help teach or tutor, helps to promote engagement and less frustration. All of this allowing learning to be fun, communicative, and easy.
