Fun Facts

I love to sing, and that's something everyone knows about me. Throughout my school years, I have participated in the school choir and been accepted into the acapella program. Also, I have a cat, Moe, and a dog, Chloe. I love animals! To graduate high school, we had to complete volunteer hours. I did mine at a local cat shelter, and I loved every minute.

About Me

I am a sophomore double major studying Early Childhood Education and Psychology at Coastal Carolina University. I've been on the President's list for the past few semesters. I can't wait to earn my master's in social work while hopefully teaching K-3.

Experience

In high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society, and now in college, I am a part of the President's List. Also, I have 4+ years of experience tutoring children from K-10th grade in varying subjects.

Approach

As a young child, I struggled with school and found it extremely difficult and frustrating. Finally, I got what I perceived to be the best tutor in my late middle school years. She allowed me to reach my fullest potential by encouraging me and allowing me to get the answer wrong without being penalized. As a tutor, I do the same. I encourage my students and provide my students with valuable content information to help them excel.
