Fun Facts

I enjoy writing and teaching others the mechanics of the English language. Reading and watching anime have been a passion of mine for many years. Being able to read and write helps with keeping up with subtitles in animes and foreign films. Having the chance to open up another person's world to the joy of reading and writing is one of my goals.

About Me

I'm currently a Creative Writing student at northridge">California State University Northridge. I graduated from Los Angeles Valley Community College with a degree in English. I've also attended film school. My ultimate goal is to work as a writer for a publication. I also hope to teach abroad.

Experience

I've aided past college students in developing essays for their literature classes. I also once held a position as an after-school activities supervisor at an elementary school, and one of the things that I found myself doing was helping the youth with their homework assignments.

Approach

I have had an appreciation for English and literature since grade school. I have found that if you align your creative interests with writing, it can become an enjoyable aactivity. I'll start students on the fundamentals of English and try to make it easier to understand. It's important to encourage and support children in recognizing that all literary challenges they encounter can be easily overcome with a little patience and effort.
