About Me

I am a community educator looking to expand my skill set and gain new experiences. I studied politics and history, became a recruiter and a teacher while traveling the world and now am interested in figuring out what I want to do next.

Experience

As a teacher, I have taught Literature and History for almost a decade. I have also volunteered as a GED teacher/tutor at my mosque. I got a perfect SAT Reading and Writing score and tutored throughout high school and college.

Approach

I believe that anyone has the capacity to learn and what is needed is gentle scaffolding, a lot of attention and encouragement, and some coaching to develop good habits.
