Fun Facts
I am the youngest of five and the first of my siblings to graduate college with a Bachelor's degree. I specialized in math because I found it challenging and I enjoy a good challenge.
About Me
I hope to go back to school to earn my Masters Degree in Mathematics one day, I would love to specialize in Finance or Statistics for the next degree l earn. I have been on the Dean's list several times and graduated Cum Laude.
I enjoy academic and creative endeavors as well, I paint and draw regularly and think incorporating colors in learning can be a great way to improve focus and the ability to learn lessons covered.
Experience
After high school I always had good grades in math and I would often Tutor my classmates, during my last two years at college I would stay late after class to help any other students who didn't understand the classes content. I've taken Calculus I-III, Probability and Statistics, Differential Equations, and many other high level math courses to improve my skills in math.
Approach
I struggled with math until my junior year of high school, that year was the first time a teacher sat down with me and watched how I solved problems. My teacher was able to steer me towards how to solve problems using my own thought process. After she showed me how and why the way I did things affected how I got my answers I was able to improve and grasp the concept of math from that day forward.
