About Me

I am graduate of marion-university">Francis Marion University where I received my bachelors of science degree in middle level education. Upon graduating from college, I moved to Charlotte, NC and became a middle school English and Social Studies teacher. I have been teaching and tutoring children within the age range from 7-16 for a total of eight years.

Experience

Over the past eight years, I've worked at a multitude of schools and enrichment programs focus on enhancing the academics of students throughout the inner city. I have worked alongside principals and curriculum specialist to create test prep strategies to ensure students success on their end of course exams.

Approach

I believe that as an educator you have to teach lessons in multiple ways in order to reach each child. All children learn differently and in order to ensure full understanding we have to educate using auditory and visual techniques. My main goal is to teach strategy, methods that can be used across multiple subject areas.
