Fun Facts

My father served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and I served for 7 years in the U.S. Navy. I have lived in many states as well as overseas. I only have three states the I have not visited.

About Me

I am a Product Manager for a Biotechnology company and work with cancer and genomics researchers. I also am an adjunct professor for the Doctoral program at Concordia University - Austin. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy helping others with realizing their potential.

Experience

I have spent a lifetime encouraging and mentoring youths and adults to success. I have coach youths for success in sports and school. I have mentored and coached adults to be successful in school and in their professional lives.

Approach

Growing up, I struggled with reading comprehension and spent many additional hours going through modules for reading and comprehension. There was no tutoring available for me, and I had to suffer through many failures as I learned to read and comprehend what I had read. This led to me losing confidence and falling behind my classmates. I would love to provide structure and encourage to those middle school students/adult learners that are struggling with school.
