A few fun facts about me are 1) I avidly enjoy the outdoors; camping, hiking, kayaking, and more! 2) I love learning about psychology 3) I’m the oldest of three sisters and we all love to ride dirt bikes together!

About Me

I’m a recently graduated undergraduate student. I love learning myself, and inspiring that same love in my students while helping them play to their strengths in their educational journey. Learning happens best when enjoying the process and having fun, something I believe and live by!

Experience

My tutoring and teaching experience, in math, English and a handful of other subjects, spans over 5 years in different capacities both professionally and as a volunteer. Most recently, I have been tutoring younger students in learning English as a second language.

Approach

From my own experiences, I understand how important it is to have someone who will be patient and encouraging to a student who is shy or struggling with comprehension of a subject. My approach is to provide a comfortable environment in which students feel free to be themselves, have fun, and work through challenges with the help and tools that they need to succeed as a unique individual.
