About Me

I am a newly graduated student from Calvin University with a BS in Mathematics. 8 have tutoring for the Center for Student Success at my university for 3 semesters high level math classes, and is one of my favorite things to do.

Experience

Working as a professional tutor, despite having had more experience before, helped me understand better what topics usually students struggle with, how important is to be approachable and patient, and how everyone has the ability to improve their math skills with hard work and a little help, which is what a tutor is there for.

Approach

I have always loved math and been mostly good at understanding even complex concepts. However, I have struggled too and at times I have felt like math wasn't for me, but I just graduated with a BS in this field. I think that feeling is something no student should go through, but even if that happens, as a tutor I'll do my best to make sure the students know they can achieve whatever level of math they aim for.
