Fun Facts

One of my favorite hobbies is that I love trivia! I always love watching trivia shows, and I okay trivia at least once a week. My friends and I also started a trivia club in my college campus to get more people to love trivia!

About Me

I am a senior Math major at Pittsburg State University. I intend to graduate in December and continue my education by getting a masters degree in math also at Pitt State.

Experience

I’ve been an elementary math tutor since I was in seventh grade. As I got older, I slowly expanded my tutoring range to include k-12 as well as college courses. I also became a substitute teacher last year where I teach anything from college calculus and college algebra to elementary school math.

Approach

As long as I’ve been in school, I’ve always loved math, but, as I went through school, I noticed that some of my peers were struggling. I decided that I wanted to help everyone love math just as much as I do. I think getting help as early as possible is key to success. I always have multiple methods of explanation, and I will try many different methods of problem solving until a way is found that fully ensures the student’s complete understanding.
