About Me
I am a graduate student at Rutgers Graduate School of Education, studying through the 5-Year Elementary English program. I am very passionate about reading and writing, and teaching students how to properly do both in preparation for further education and real life experiences.
Experience
In each of my previous job experiences, I have completed my assignments with a high degree of skill and professionalism. I am also very familiar with writing as an English major and peer reviewer, and I am intimately familiar with technology, after working in several different offices on computers, copy machines, printers, etc. However, my true talents lie with my interpersonal skills, with which I am very welcoming, clear in communication, and cheerful.
Approach
Some people think that learning has to be linear and labeled. I believe that learning is greatly complex and significant. I believe that all students and people are unique, and their way of learning is special to them. Thus, it is crucial for teachers to have a wide variety of ways in which to teach the world’s different students. I believe that metacognition is a key element in catering to a variety of students.
