Fun Facts

Traveling has been one guilty pleasure I would love to do more of. I enjoy traveling all over the world and learning about people and culture around the world that is not like mine. I really enjoy classic movies, especially black and white ones from the 1930s-50s. I enjoy walking and exercising outdoors and my noisy birds.

About Me

I am a certified General Education and ESL teacher. I have been teaching for over 20 years.
I have a Bachler’s and a Master’s degree in the education field. Grades I have taught include K- 5. I am able to enrich or improve your skills no matter what level you are currently on.

Experience

As a teacher, I routinely administer fun and energetic lessons created to fit individual student needs. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. I am a certified General education and ESL teacher for grades EC- 6.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessments.
I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students in all subjects.
I have helped many students over the years discover their strength

Approach

I believe my role as an elementary teacher is to create a welcoming space that nurtures and encourages my students to be enthusiastic about learning for the rest of their lives. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor. I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity by asking many questions and evaluating many answers. I am strongly committed to bringing students to mastery.
