Fun Facts

I volunteered on organic farms in Hawai'i and Thailand for half a year! I took care of plants and animals such as pigs, goats, chickens, and dogs.
I am also a certified yoga instructor, as well as a musician and painter! Amongst many other projects, I am working to create my first EP and finish my first novel.

About Me

I spent my first year at Emerson College in Boston where I was immersed in a world of Creative Writing. Afterwards, I attended Pasadena City College where I obtained my Associates degree. I also hold a CELTA Certification through Cambridge University which qualifies me to teach English as a foreign language to all ages. I utilized these skills when teaching young school age children at Kids Klub Child Development Centers.

Experience

All throughout my schooling, I encountered individuals who sought to better comprehend the material. Offering my services, I was able to cultivate for them a richer understanding and help them to develop strong study skills in the process. I have experience tutoring individuals of all ages from elementary to adult.

Approach

I begin by connecting with my students. I intend to learn first who they are and where they are at in their understanding. This allows us to communicate most effectively and yield the best results possible from our time together. Leading with compassion and breaking down the information into concise, bite-sized chunks, students are able to feel comfortable as they expand their capacity to digest the material.
