I love being active! In my spare time I enjoy running, hiking, kayaking the bay, and camping. I also love learning so I spend considerable amounts of time reading and studying. I am also very eco-friendly! I hope to one day own a farm and live as sustainably as possible.

About Me

I am a senior at the miami">University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. In December, I will be graduating with a Microbiology and Immunology major and a Chemistry minor. I plan to enroll in dental school in the Fall of 2015. I have been very involved in research and hope to incorporate that into my dental studies. My overall GPA is a 4.00 and my DAT academic average is a 25.

I led SAT practices in high school as part of the National Honor Society. I am now part of study groups and will often take the lead explaining the material to my classmates. I enjoy teaching others and sharing with them the techniques I use to remember the material. I also love to encourage students to work hard and not give up. I always encourage them to get organized and have a plan. Working for Frog miami">Tutoring gives me that opportunity.

Through experience, I have developed the skills and knowledge necessary to approach new material. I am an advocate for independent learning, as it has served me better than any of the professors I have had. I hope to teach students the same. My goal is to make them independent learners with a goal. I will teach them to use their resources so that they can succeed even after their miami">tutoring experience. By identifying their strengths and weaknesses I will help them become better students. With patience and positivity I hope to make them believe in their own abilities.
