About Me

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with a Bachelor's in Violin Performance and Neuroscience and a 3.92 GPA. Since then I've been working in behavioral health, as well as managing my own private violin studio. In the fall I'm going to Northeastern Illinois University to get my Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling.

Experience

Throughout high school I was a peer tutor for elementary-high school-age kids in many subjects. Since then I've gained more experience with one-on-one education through teaching the violin to young students.

Approach

Every child has a different learning style and different goals. I have a highly individualized approach to my tutoring, making sure to listen to my client's needs, adjusting my tutoring style accordingly, and always being open to change. My main goal as a tutor is to build my client's confidence in themselves and to give them the skills they need to be successful on their own in the future.
