Fun Facts

One passion people learn about me is I love to play piano, sing, draw, paint and read! I have a silly sense of humor and love to act funny and tell jokes. I am a huge animal lover and constantly talk about my dog, Jasper! I also love to travel whenever I have the chance and listen to music quite often!

About Me

I am an elementary school teacher at St. Stephens of Hungary in Manhattan, just finishing up my first year as a Pre-K 3 teacher. I was enlisted to teach first grade next year and am very excited! I recently finished a second Masters in Administration in Higher Education as my goal is to become a college professor. I have worked as an Educational Director, mentoring teachers and working directly with families.

Experience

I began as a teaching assistant in Armonk, working in toddler and preschool classrooms. I eventually became a lead teacher for children ages 3-4, teaching Pre-K for All in the Bronx and Queens communities. I was promoted to Educational Director, and although I loved mentoring teachers, I missed being in the classroom and eventually went back to teaching. I have been working in education since 2011. I also worked as an in-home tutor for a 2nd grader and 2 fifth graders.

Approach

As a child, I excelled in school, but really found my passion in ELA and music. In high school, I realized my potential as a writer but deep down wanted to go into education. After doing some traveling and enjoying life, I settled down and went to college, eventually achieving my dream in becoming an educator.
