I'm an animal lover with 3 fur babies of my own. I'm most known for laughing at silly jokes and pondering the wonders of the world. I'm a lover of all things mom and toddler related. On my down time I enjoy watching HGTV enthusiast and baking with children.

About Me

I have been a classroom teacher for the last 15 years and I am currently on child care leave. I am loving my time home with my children but missing my classroom of students.

Experience

I have taught various grade levels throughout the 15 years both as a general education teacher and a education/connecticut/new-haven">special education teacher. I also was a literacy coach for 3 years and supported teachers in grades Pre-K - 5.

Approach

As an elementary student, I struggled to learn to read and receiving AIS support was life changing for me. It was the beginning of my love for learning and it was then that I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have been teaching for the last 15 years in the Bronx with classrooms as large as 32 students and have seen many students struggle as a result of being behind grade level. I truly believe all students can have great success with the right support and I would love the opportunity to help.
