I love reading and listening to music. I enjoy helping young students learn and there's nothing like seeing that spark in their eye when they finally understand the subject matter.

About Me

I've worked several jobs, and have enjoyed all of them. I love learning new things, and am always looking to try something new.
I've been a tutor, in one capacity or another, for almost 25 years. I have two children, now adults, as well as an awesome grandson, and a granddaughter on the way!

Experience

Over the past 30 years, I've been a tutor, student mentor, schoolbus monitor, school bus driver, child care provider, among other things. I love working with children, and always try to find a fun way to help them learn.

Approach

I always try to find a fun way to teach. I feel that by making learning fun and exciting, it makes students more eager to learn and try new things.
Everyone learns differently; there is no one size fits all method to learning. By assessing how a student processes new information, I can find ways to help them learn at their pace, and retain what they have just learned.
