I love cooking, reading, and learning. I love incorporating my studies of different cultures and places into what I cook at home, it allows me to experience a variety of foodways from disparate backgrounds.

About Me

I am currently in the final phase of my Doctoral program and will graduate December 2022.

Experience

I have studied history for the past twelve years at the highest level with a focus on Latin American history, US history, Pacific history, empire studies, colonization, and food history.

Approach

I have been fortunate enough to have worked with and for many history professors. My approach is one that is all inclusive and tailored to the needs of the student. This would include guidance on essay construction, study methods, historical inquiry and basic understand, and finally advanced historical studies.
