One fact about me is that I traveled to Turkey when I was just 15 years old, all by myself! It was a super fun trip, and I learned a bunch about being independent and responsible.

About Me

I am a current Sophmore in undergrad, doubling majoring in International Affairs and Developmental Economics. I work as a part-time nanny, but school is my main focus.

Experience

I have been tutoring for many years, starting back in middle school. I was a tutor through my middle and high schools after school study programs, and I also privatley tutored neighborhood kids at home. Most of my tutoring has involved improve reading and writing skills, specifically with children who were learning English as a second language. Approach

My apprach as a tutor has always been to empathize with the student and understand their perspective. I also recongize that academics is not a strong suit for many students, so I understand that not everybody enjoys school. While recongizing this, I try to make learning as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
