Hi! My name is Taya. I’ve always had a passion or reading and writing. I was even the captain of my Battle of the Books team! In high school developed a love for biology and playing the cello. (I was way better at biology than the cello, though). In my free time you will probably find me crocheting or hanging with my cats.

I am a undergraduate at Western Governors University studying Biology with a teaching licensure.

Experience

I went to an early college high school. There I tutored my peers in their highschool and some college classes.

Approach

I believe that every student is unique in their learning journey. There is no one size fits all. Figuring out someone’s learning style is crucial! I like to hear what the student already knows from the lesson. From there, we build connections and build from those pathways. I firmly believe there are no stupid questions or stupid students.
