I have always had a passion for languages and love exploring new languages and cultures. I love reading and writing as well.

About Me

I am an experienced teacher, having taught in public school for 7 years. I grew up a native English speaker, but traveled and lived in various places in the US and abroad as a kid due to being in a military family. In college, I studied both Spanish and French as a double major and spent time in Peru and France to further study those languages.

Experience

I have spent the last 7 years teaching in a public school to grades kindergarten through 12th. I taught Spanish and French, and am a certified teacher.

Approach

My approach to teaching has always been to make things fun and engaging for the students, while also making sure to hit all the important areas and standards. I love to teach through games, music, and stories, with some lectures and worksheets thrown in when necessary to track growth and make sure the kids are keeping up and understanding.
