I love books! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I am also a volunteer librarian for a local elementary school.

At the heart of all I do, I am an educator and promoter of childhood success.

Experience

Over the last 25-plus years, I have worked with all age levels from birth through high school in a variety of different settings. I have experience in classrooms and with tutoring. Over the years, I have been an after-school coordinator, classroom teacher, tutor, substitute teacher, early childhood coordinator, and librarian, started a preschool through third-grade private school in my community, and have volunteered in many classrooms, field trips, and more!

Approach

Every child deserves the chance to learn and find success in their education. I believe in meeting children where they are and then helping to grow from there. Learning to read and feeling great about their literacy skills are key to unlocking all future learning. It is important to make sure all children have the chance to gain a love of reading.
