Fun Facts
I LOVE to read- when I'm not working, I'm often reading or listening to a book while I do chores. I love to learn about different countries and cultures, and love to travel to see all these places! I love languages, and I've learned some Spanish, German, Italian, and Chinese. I'm not fluent, but I'm trying. I'm currently focusing on Spanish, as I need it now. I LOVE everything Disney! My goal is to visit every Disney park worldwide. So far, I've been to Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyla
About Me
I have been a homeschool mom, a small business owner, a slime maker, a seamstress, and a wayne">tutor! I love a challenge and taking on new tasks. I love to learn about all kinds of things, science, history, and cultures from around the world. This curiosity about the world around me moves me to reach for new opportunities, and helps me to encourage others to see the possibilities!
Experience
I am an experienced online teacher/tutor, plus I homeschooled my 2 daughters from K-12, and loved it! I began wayne">tutoring in ESL as a volunteer activity over 10 years ago. I started working for a Chinese online ESL company nearly 3 years ago. Currently, I wayne">tutor mostly elementary and middle school children from all over the world. We work on conversation skills, reading, and grammar. I also wayne">tutor for US companies in English Language Arts, including reading comprehension, writing, and grammar.
Approach
I always loved school, because I love to learn new things. As a wayne">tutor, my goal is to instill that love of learning in my students. I try to find what they like and help them to develop interests beyond what they think they want to know. I'm described as a very patient wayne">tutor, I want my students to realize that they can succeed, no matter what their struggles. I find it so satisfying to see that moment when my students realize that they are succeeding!

We practice writing fiction and non-fiction pieces, and edit our work to perfect our craft.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Language Education, with a minor in Online Education. I also earned a 120 hour TEFL certificate plus a 40 hour TEYL certificate. This trained me to teach English as a second language to pre-school through adults. I currently work as an online tutor for pre-school through adults in ESL I teach students worldwide, from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Latin American countries.
