Fun Facts

I love camping and being outdoors in summer - kayaking, hiking, and campfires! I homeschool my son and we enjoy spending time with our two dogs. I love languages, reading, flying, and quilting.

About Me

I have been teaching ESL and tutoring English and Math for native speakers and Spanish speakers for over four years. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Languages are one of my passions, though I never seem to have as much time as I would like to learn them and travel to those regions.

Experience

In the last four years, I have taught over 6,000 lessons to students worldwide in ESL, English, and Math for English speakers, and English and Math lessons for Spanish speakers.

Approach

I think learning should be a fun, exciting, and encouraging experience for each student. I love learning and look forward to helping each student grow during our lessons. In the classroom, I like to have fun and enjoy learning together. My students receive ample praise, encouragement, and support. My classroom is a safe environment because sometimes the best lessons are learned by reviewing mistakes made in language usage or math problems.
