I am a mom of 2 and I love working with young kids! I was a first-grade teacher for 8 years and enjoyed seeing how much they grow academically and socially.

About Me

I graduated from UNT in 2013 and started teaching first grade in Carrollton, TX. Then, 5 years later, my husband became a firefighter in McKinney, TX. So, we moved and I taught in McKinney for 3 years before starting a family. My heart will always be in the classroom but for now, the virtual classroom.

Experience

I am an educator at heart and want to help students succeed in their educational journey. I have experience in pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and 5th grade. Most of my experience is from the 8 years I spent as a classroom teacher teaching all subjects to first graders.

Approach

I like to meet students where they are academically and help them fill in the gaps and grow from where they started. No child is too far behind or unreachable; they are all capable of reaching high expectations.
