About Me

After training to be a cultural anthropologist at the chicago">University of Chicago, I left academia just before filing my doctoral dissertation to be a stay-at-home parent in 2014. That's a long way of saying that I love kids, learning, and teaching.

Experience

I've taught classes for college undergraduates, tutored high school students, and oversaw my preschoolers' education during the pandemic.

Approach

I believe teaching starts with meeting the student where they are, working with their skills, and helping them to be comfortable with the idea that getting the wrong answer is an essential step on the way to mastering any subject.
