About Me
Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in early childhood education PreK - 4th at Drexel University.
In 2019, I graduated from Temple University with my bachelor’s degree in public health. After working on a research study with 3–6-year-olds and their snacking preferences, I realized I wanted to have a bigger impact on children rather than just their eating habits. So, during the pandemic, I decided to make a career change and go back to school to pursue my master’s in education prek-4th grade (I hope to complete my master’s program at the end of this year 😊).
Since April 2021 I have worked at an elementary charter school, where I started as a teacher assistant and got promoted to a substitute teacher in August of 2021. I have been so lucky to experience all grades from kindergarten through 8th and even got the opportunity to sub long-term in a kindergarten classroom.
I also have experience working as a lead teacher at a preschool, where I worked with infant-aged children to 4-year-olds.
As of now, I am completing my student teaching at Belmont Hills Elementary school in the kindergarten classroom.
