About Me
I am freshman in Florida International University studying Bio-medical Engineering. Since this is my first semester, I do not have a college GPA yet but I graduated with a high GPA of 3.8. I hope to attend either MIT or Georgia Tech to study for my PhD.
Currently I miami">tutor kids as a volunteer once a week for 2 hours at a local day-care. The children range anywhere from elementary school to early high school students.
My approach for learning school material varies from needing someone to explain it to me, show me examples, or simply reading it from a book. Because of this varied learning style, I am able to relate to a lot of kids with the way they study and give them advice and tips on how they could possibly study. My approach is to kindly explain to the child the material and work through the examples and work with them until they fully understand the material. If need be, I would take a different course of action when teaching such as creating example problems to practice.
