About Me

I'm a senior Chemistry Major at Howard University. Originally from Northern California, I have been living in the DC Area for a little over three years and I love it so far! Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school. With my light schedule this year, I have a lot of time to help others excel academically!

During my freshman year of college I was appointed by my Chemistry professor to washington-dc">tutor my colleague in General Chemistry. I also tutored middle school students at Reach Academy during High School.

I believe that the learning experience should be both educational and exciting for students. Sometimes, mindlessly reading a book and retaining facts is not the best way to learn. As a washington-dc">tutor, it is my job to help students navigate through the course work in a learning style that captures their attention, maximizes their retention, and motivates them to learn more.
