About Me

I am currently enrolled at Portland State University, while I work full time as an accountant! I am excited to be expanding my knowledge and opening more future opportunities. I am originally from Colorado and have lived in Oregon for about 6 years.

Experience

I have been tutoring math since I was in 8th grade. The only thing that has expanded, is the types of math I get to tutor as I got older. I love helping others find ways that they understand math. For the last 10 years I have been tutoring reading and writing for middle schoolers and elementary schoolers.

Approach

In middle school, I was selected to help be a junior tutor for a few kids that were struggling in elementary school. Seeing the light up on their faces once they understood was the reason I continued tutoring. 15+ years later, this is still why I love tutoring.
